The supervisory Board
The supervisory board monitors the executive board’s management of the cooperative. It can demand reports from the executive board at any time, and can examine and audit the cooperative’s books and publications, the balance in hand, the holdings of securities, commercial documents and goods. This can be done by the supervisory board as a whole, or by a single member nominated to do so by the supervisory board. An individual member of the supervisory board can also demand information from the executive board, whereby such information will formally be provided to the supervisory board as a whole, and not the individual alone.
The supervisory board of CEwind eG consists of four members elected by the General Assembly. Only active members, or persons authorised to represent such members, may be elected to the supervisory board. The founder members of the cooperative, which are universities of applied sciences, research establishments or universities, have a joint right to propose 2/3 of the supervisory board members to be elected.
